Dave Nostrant of Vic Braden Tennis CollegeDave Is originally from Wisconsin and a true green and gold Packer fan. In high school he played football, baseball and basketball. He played shortstop and was captain of his high school team. Dave played shortstop at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. At age 28 he started playing tennis. At 31 he played on the tennis team at Northern Michigan University and completed his bachelor degree.

Dave went on to complete the Tennis technology program at Tyler Junior College, Tyler, Texas. This two year program, directed by Steve Smith, was the first program in the U.S. to train teaching professionals in all aspects of the tennis industry. During that time he was certified by the USPTA, USPTR, became a lifetime member of the USTA, directed the college P.E. tennis program, and was assistant pro at Hollytree Country Club. He was the first president of the Tennis Technology Honors Club.

Dave taught for Vic Braden in Ankum, West Germany, before coming to the Green Valley Spa in May of 1987. In August of 1987 he became co-director and in 1988 Dave become director of the Vic Braden Tennis College, Utah. In 1998 he was awarded "Regional Advisory Staff Member of the Year" for Wilson Racquet Sports. Dave and the tennis programs at Green Valley have been featured on: "The Tennis Magazine Show," "Tennis Extras," "Short Takes" for ESPN Fitness Club and "Inside Out" a sports program from San Jose, Ca, as well as Tennis Magazine and Tennis Week. Since 1996 Tennis Magazine has awarded Green Valley as one of the "Top 50 Greatest Tennis Resorts" and The Vic Braden Tennis College of the "Top 25 Greatest Tennis Camps." In 2000 the program was designated one of the "Top 5 Tennis Programs," by Tennis Magazine. Tennis Resorts Online ranked the Vic Braden Tennis College the #2 Tennis Camp in the World for 2005!

Dave is member of Vic Braden's National Coaching Staff and has taught for Vic all over the country and assisted Vic in his research at the 2001 Mercedes Benz Cup. In 2004 Dave opened the College at the Homestead Resort in Michigan, in 2009 at the Westward Look Resort in Arizona, and the Fairmont Orchid Resort, Hawaii.

Dave is co-founder of Court Think, which specializes in tennis program management for clubs and resorts, and research, study and development of athletic motion and training in all sports.

Dave is married to Lisa and they have 3 beautiful daughters. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, swimming, mountain biking, and fly fishing.
